Inspired by the iconic pastoral styles of the 18th century, Veronica created our very own custom pastoral print on cotton poplin. The ruched draping ties into a whimsical bow perfect for adding a feminine touch to any ensemble. 
 
Meaning in the Print:
Blue lotus flowers are interwoven with the Tantum Ergo written throughout: "faith for all defects supplying, where the feeble senses fail." 
 Lotus flowers rise up from the muddy water three days before they bloom just as Christ rose on the third day. Their roots are 6ft deep and can clean toxins out of the water around them, just as Christ purifies us.
The lotus flowers are rendered to be melting, just as the presence of Christ in the Eucharist fades into us as the accidents of bread and wine nourish us. This serves as a reminder that we are then called to be one with Him.
