The Regina Dress

Designed to be a perfect in-between of relaxed chic and upscale elegance, the Regina Dress comes in both Passion Red silk charmeuse and our custom, luminous Holy Family silk-rayon velvet print.  With a corset-style tie detail at the back reminiscent of the flexible changing and growth of family, it can be adjusted to flatter your figure through all different seasons of life.  The center back vent comes up to the knee and enables a wide range of movement as you go about your day.  This one is our designer’s favorite- she’s worn it to get groceries, to the ballet, to mass, to therapy- you name it.  The square neckline adds the perfect amount of flair to create an effortless sophistication.  

The Regina Caeli is sung during the Easter Season in place of the Angelus. The prayer honors the queenship of Mary and the joy that comes in the resurrection. The Holy Family print reflects the Incarnation as a result of Mary’s “yes.” The red reflects the joy that bursts forth as a result of Christ’s salvific sacrifice that has gained for us eternal life. The same joy that is reflected in the stories of the martyrs: they know their suffering be but a moment and rejoice beyond the circumstance.
