The Celeste Dress

Nostalgic, whimsical, timeless.

We loved our Celeste blouse so much, that we decided to turn her into a full-length dress, worthy of the Mistress of Pemberley. This whimsical and hopelessly romantic piece is perfect for Litany brides or anyone with plans to frolic through a field. 

Incredibly flowy and comfortable, we made the Celestre dress with encased elastic at the neck, waist, and shoulders/sleeves. The sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder for additional versatility. 

An elastic insert along the inside back of the dress keeps the front form fitting and hugs the body while the back flows freely, similar to the 18th-century robe á la française. Two navy gross-grain ribbons can tie in the front, around the back, or a combination. The dress is fully lined, cotton voile.

The Church as Bride is highlighted every time we receive Christ in Holy Communion. This dress highlights that in its bridal sensibilities. Its flowing silhouette calls to mind the outpouring of mercy in the Eucharist.
